Creative Autumn Meeting ("CAM", in Hungarian "KÖMT") is going to be held at the Szőnyi István Elementary School in Zebegény (1-3, Petőfi Square), a beautiful village 60 kilometers north of Budapest, near the river Danube between 22nd of October and 25th of October, 2015. You can also arrive in Friday morning, but we would be really happy if you could join until 10.30 a.m. so you can participate in the full program. However, shorter visits are also welcome.

Location

Szőnyi István Elementary School in Zebegény  is located at 1-3, Petőfi Square (2 minutes from the train station). You can get there best by train from Budapest („Nyugati pályaudvar” train station). If you are coming from the direction of Slovakia, you can also get on the train at Szob.
By car you should take Route E77/12.

Program

You can choose from different creative workshops on our Creative Autumn Meeting, such as dance, theatre, painting of initials, batik and drawing, engraving, photo, dance&fight. More details coming soon! You will take part in 4 lessons in the same workshop during the weekend, and you will have the chance to make a performance or exhibition with your group for Saturday night. Therefore it is important to be there from Friday 10.30 a.m. until Saturday 10.00 p.m. If you cannot take part both days, some workshops might not be available for you - but let's discuss.

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided in the classrooms of the school (no beds, bring your own mattress and sleeping bag). Most of us will stay at the school, but you can also reserve a room in a local guesthouse (we can provide an address list).
There is only breakfast included in the price. We will have a cafeteria run by two members, Koppány and Elrenor, that is famous for its cheap and delicious sandwiches and salads. There are some food outlets and a grocery store near the school building, but they will be closed on the 23rd of October (being a national holiday in Hungary).

Prices

The price depends on the length of your stay and on whether you require accommodation in the school. We can provide our foreigner Tolkien-friends the discount of the Humgarian Tolkien Society members, therefore the price for 3 night will be cca. 18 EUR with accomodation, 8-10 EUR without. You can pay on arrival in Hungarian forints!
If you arrive or leave Hungary one-two day earlier or later, let us know and we might host you in Budapest in our homes.
