The Hungarian Tolkien Society invites you to join the international “Quendi” category of the Tolkien Mailing Competition. This category is organised in English, open to any individual participant. In the course of the Competition you will face different challenges like quizzes, riddles and creative tasks. The five rounds of the competition will last from October to April.

A Magyar Tolkien Társaság levelező versenyt hirdet a 2022-2023-as tanévben a Tolkien-rajongó általános és középiskolás diákok csapatainak, valamint a 15 évnél idősebb magyar és külföldi egyéni versenyzőknek. 

As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, the Hungarian Tolkien Society, together with the Institute of English Studies at Károli Gáspár University, is organising an international conference related to the life and work of J. R. R. Tolkien between 23-26 June 2022. The topic of the Conference will be Myth, Imagination, Literature.

A Magyar Tolkien Társaság és a Károli Gáspár Református Egyetem Anglisztika Intézete nemzetközi tudományos konferenciát szervez J. R. R. Tolkien íróhoz és műveihez kapcsolódóan „Mítosz, fantázia, irodalom” témakörben. A konferencia 2022. június 23-26. között kerül megrendezésre a Károli Gáspár Református Egyetemen.
