A mozis változat után sokan úgy érezhették, hogy A hobbit: Váratlan utazás nyugodt, ráérős tempójával szemben a második film nagyon gyorsan rohan végig egyik helyszínről a másikra, legalább is a Ködhegységtől Tóvárosig. A könyv ismerői is sok klasszikus jelenetet hiányolhattak A hobbit: Smaug pusztaságából. Mi az, amit nekik nyújt a bővített extra változat, és mi az, amit nem? Vajon idén sikerült-e érdemben hozzátenni az újabb kiadás során, vagy csak töltelék-jelenetekre számíthatunk?

Arra gondoltál-e már, hogy a film szinkronjában (de emlékeim szerint az eredeti angol szövegben is) minden jel szerint hibásan mondják a törp király nevét? Az angol szövegben, ha nem tévedek, "Ɵorin" (mint az angol "thanks" szóban) szerepel, míg a magyar szinkronban a roppant idegesítő, de legalább brutálisan helytelen "szorin". Mert a ƟinkronƟinéƟek nem tudták helyesen (és szárazon) kiejteni a Ɵ hangot... Pletyka, de talán igaz is lehet, hogy szavazással döntötték el, melyik kiejtésnél maradjanak. Ha már a tolkieni nyelveknél a th-t Ɵ-nek kell ejteni... De úgy kell?
